 A-Series:
"A" Series Mold Bases are A standard basic mold design required frequently by moldmakers and molders. They have been pre-engineered by experienced mold designers to accommodate a wide variety of injection molding applications. They suit most plastics injection and die casting requirements, simplicfies mold design, increases productivity, and still gives the molder the most econmical, high performance mold construction.

 B-Series:
Our "B" Series Mold Base Assembly uses the Cavity Retainer Plates for a dual purpose, eliminating the need for a sepatate Top Clamping Plate and Support Plate. Multiple-cavity molds designed into the "B" Series require that the cavities and cores be inserted into blind pockets that are machined into the Cavity Retainer Plates. Even though the "B" Series cost less, the savings in the basic mold base must be compared with the added cost requirements of thicker Cavity Retainer Plates plus added machining time for blind pockets versus through pockets. |
